Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Artist's Death

The famed series of paintings by pop artist Andy Warhol, based on Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper," is making a grand return to Milan's Museo del Novecento.

Exactly 30 years after the iconic "The Last Supper" series debuted in Milan, the city is once again hosting these remarkable works. Over 60 silkscreen paintings and works on paper from the collections of Peter Brant will be on display as part of the exhibition.

Warhol created his interpretation of Leonardo's masterpiece between 1984 and 1986, captivating the world with his unique and modern take on this timeless subject. The paintings, measuring 21.11 x 14.30 meters, will be showcased in the museum's spacious galleries.
