Swiatek Extends Winning Streak to 17 Matches

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek continued her dominant run on the WTA Tour by defeating World No. 4 Elena Rybakina 7-6 (3), 6-2 on Saturday to win the Qatar Open in Doha.

The victory marked Swiatek's third title in a row, following her triumphs at the Adelaide International and the Australian Open earlier this year. It also extended her winning streak to 17 matches.

Swiatek dominated the first set, winning the tiebreaker 7-3. She then cruised through the second set, winning 6-2 to secure the win.

The win was particularly impressive considering that Rybakina had won their previous meeting at the Abu Dhabi Open in January.
