Arsenal Survives Tottenham Scare to Stay in Title Race

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard's goals earn Arsenal a 2-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Despite a spirited second-half performance from the hosts, Arsenal held on to move eight points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal took the lead in the 14th minute when Bukayo Saka pounced on a loose ball and fired home from the edge of the area. The Gunners doubled their advantage just before half-time when Hugo Lloris turned Martin Odegaard's cross into his own net.

Tottenham came out fighting in the second half and had chances to get back into the game, but Arsenal's defense held firm. The hosts finally broke through in the 70th minute when Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot, but it was too little too late.

The win sees Arsenal move eight points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table with just six games remaining. Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, remain in third place, four points behind Manchester United.
